BIO mussels, rope-grown, Denmark *fresh
Fresh Organic rope-culture, mussels from Denmark. 1kg vacuum pack.
Our Danish rope grown mussels are plump, fleshy and extra tender and creamy. This is because they grow just below the surface of the water in Limfjord. Thanks to the sunlight and the nutrient-rich water, they can be harvested after just one year. The Lykke family, who have been cultivating our raft-grown mussels for years, are proud of their exceptional quality.
Product information
Mussels are a little bit like the chicken of the sea: hugely versatile. You can steam them, boil them, stir-fry them, deep-fry them, bake them in the oven and grill them on the barbecue. You can also combine them endlessly with all kinds of ingredients. And the great thing is: they’re not just delicious, they’re also very good for you.
Super healthy!
For instance, mussels contain little fat but they are bursting with proteins, minerals, calcium, phosphorus and vitamins. And the fat they do contain is of the healthy type, unsaturated fatty acids. We could go on. Because mussels also have a high iodine content and contain selenium, copper and iron. You get the picture: mussels are super healthy!
